Daddy Freeze defends Akuapem Poloo’s nude photo shoot.
Nigerian broadcaster Daddy Freeze is defending actress Akuapem Poloo’s nude photoshoot with her son which went viral on Tuesday.
Daddy Freeze in defending Akuapem Poloo’s actions quoted some bible verses to prove that there’s nothing wrong with her going n@ked with her son.
Some social media users while reacting to Daddy Freeze’s post said it was totally wrong for Akuapem Poloo to drag her son into her drama.
Others also asked her to come out if she wants to be a nudist and not drag her innocent son into her drama on social media just to chase clout.
According to the radio host, “the picture is inappropriate because we created a sinful, perverted world.”
“But in the eyes and mind of a child, it’s mothers nudity is not inappropriate because children were created innocent like Adam and Eve and it’s this sinful world that covers their shame in clothing, not God!”
Daddy Freeze, born Ifedayo Olarinde, stated that when he saw the photo for the first time, he, like others, criticised the actress, born Rosemond Brown.
After a second thought, he realised there was nothing wrong, adding that, it was, however, important for Akuapem Poloo to not pass a wrong message to the world with the picture.
Akuapem Poloo faced criticism when she posted a nude photo of herself and son to celebrate his seventh birthday.
She earlier defended her action saying “I was not completely naked. He did not see my organs because I covered myself with a cloth and applied sellotapes to the necessary parts. Besides the picture was taken in my own house.”
Later on Tuesday evening, the actress apologised in a video saying she did not mean to offend anyone.
Subsequently, the Executive Director of Child Right International, Bright Appiah petitioned the Police to investigate the matter after the actress was criticised for the act.
According to the the Director of the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, Supt Mike Baah, Akuapem Poloo is yet to honour the police invitation, howver, investigations has already began.
