Terry Crews warns against black supremacy…
Hollywood superstar Terrence Crews is obviously not taking the anti-racism protests lightly as he warned about a disastrous outcome if the protests are taken too far.
The comic actor warned that the fight against white supremacy over the black community could lead to a reverse of the situation as the blacks could end up dominating.
He advised that the war against racism should be fought with white folks in consideration otherwise racism will just turn out inversely with the white folks being discriminated.
Terrence explained that if both the whites and blacks don’t work together, bad attitudes and resentments will create a dangerous self righteousness which will turn out to be the same problem with a new identity.
Speaking on the murder of George Floyd, who was indiscriminately killed by a cop with a knee on his neck. Terrence Crews narrated that he’s resorted to seeking for an avenue to create a conducive atmosphere for the black community to thrive.
“The murder of George Floyd has forced me to search my heart to find out what more I can do, as a human being, as a citizen, and more specifically as a Black man, to ensure our community can not only survive but thrive in this new world.”
Replying to a tweet from Everybody Hates Chris and Let it Shine star actor Tyler James Williams, The Ex NFL player explained the need for an equal coexistence of both communities to avoid indignation.
Tyler had earlier responded to his warning against black supremacy by admonishing his statements and then forewarned that his comments could lead to a transfer of aggression from the protesters towards him.
“I’m not trying to call you out @terrycrews. You know it’s all love always.
But we’re rightfully angry right now and fed up with anyone not with our cause wholeheartedly. I don’t want to see that energy pointed your way or diverted from the cause.” – Tyler James Williams.
“I understand, Tyler. I was not saying Black supremacy exists, because it doesn’t. I am saying if both Black and Whites don’t continue to work together– bad attitudes and resentments can create a dangerous self-righteousness. That’s all.” – Terry Crews.
Speaking on the disagreeing receptions. Terry crews maintained that any black who disagrees with his opinions has a misguided view of who a black person really is.
