La Liga: Real Madrid might play without Ramos, Casemiro.
Real Madrid are back on top of the La Liga table ahead of the fierce rivals Barcelona after defeating Real Sociedad 2-1 at the Reale Arena on Sunday evening.
Real Madrid took the lead through Sergio Ramos’ penalty after Vinicius Junior was brought down in the 18-yard box by Diego Llorente, Karim Benzema added the second goal before Mikel Merino pulled one back for the Basque side.
Real Madrid were left with a bitter ending after their captain Ramos was subbed off with a knee injury just minutes after opening the scoring for the Los Blancos.
The Spanish defender is now a doubt for Real Madrid’s next game against Real Mallorca.
Another bad news for Zinedine Zidane’s side is the unavailability of Casemiro for the Mallorca game. The Brazil international received is 10th yellow card of the season against the Basque which rules him out of the next game for Los Blancos.
Real Madrid will be hoping on registering yet another three points against Real Mallorca without the presence of Casemiro and possibly Ramos who is yet to know the extent of his knee injury.
